As most of you already know, we have landed on having our special day at the Other Side Hotel (and The Farm – an extension of the Other Side, opening in November) in the Bahamas. The date will be April 25-28, 2025. There will be a formal invitation to follow, but given the timing of everything, we wanted to get some information out to everyone ASAP. We’ve kept our invite list extremely slim, there will be 54 people invited to join and all very close friends and family. The hotel has 24 huts, and our group will be taking the entire resort; accommodations for the group are covered for Friday night – Sunday night. Couples will be paired together in their own huts and a few sleep 3 for certain guests that have been paired up. Breakfast is included with the stay as well as the event meals. The only cost for everyone attending are flights and meals / drinks outside of our wedding related events.

We encourage everyone to extend their trip into a longer vacation if you’d like. There are some beautiful hotels on Harbour Island which is only an 8-minute boat ride away. The Other Side Hotel has also told us that they will honor the group discount on the rooms that we have for anyone who wants to stay extra nights. If you do, you will be responsible for the cost of the extra nights. A few additional (and repetitive) details below:

Date: April 25-28, 2025, the reason for the Friday – Monday date is due to sensitivities around the costs of flights. After some extensive research, we’ve found that it’s much cheaper to get to the island and back home on these dates as there are other weddings on the island this weekend. Please stay all three nights on the property (your stay is already paid for!) and depart on Monday. Additionally, there will be wedding activities that take place on Sunday that we want everyone to be a part of! If this is an issue for anyone, please let us know ASAP.

How to get there: The destination airport is North Eleuthera Airport. Google flights will show all available options. We highly recommend staying on top of booking flights. Most of the flights to North Eleuthera depart out of Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and some out of Miami (MIA). American is the airline with the most flight options; there are also more budget friendly airlines like Silver Airways, but their reliability cannot be guaranteed.
